Fear and tension spread across Rajahmundry on Tuesday after a tiger was seen roaming near residential and school areas. People were shocked when the big cat was spotted close to Divan Cheruvu Center and later near the SVPC Function Hall, which is right next to the national highway.
Even more worrying, locals believe the tiger was moving toward Delhi Public School, creating serious concern for students, parents, and teachers in the area.

A group of young men saw the tiger while driving and managed to record a video from their car. Within minutes, the video spread across social media, causing panic and fear among residents.
Many people locked themselves inside their homes, while others rushed to warn their neighbors.
👣 Tiger Footprints Found
Forest and police officials reached the area after tiger footprints were found near farms and canals. To catch the animal safely, the forest department has placed cage traps and started close monitoring.
Officials have advised people:
- Not to go out alone at night
- To keep children indoors

This tiger had earlier created fear in Eluru district agency areas. Now it has entered East Godavari district.
On February 1, the tiger attacked and killed cattle in Torredu village of Rajamahendravaram Rural. Shockingly, when local leaders and officials were giving a press briefing about the attack, the tiger was seen moving behind them.
The big cat was also recently spotted in Nandipadu village of Duttalur Mandal in Nellore district, near Ramanukunta. Because of this, people in Udayagiri and nearby areas are living in fear.
